WHILL Automated Driving Service in New Domestic Flight Area at Kansai International Airport

 The first large-scale renovation of the "New Domestic Flight Area" opened at Kansai International Airport in October 2022, ahead of international area. In the new domestic flight area, the commercial area after security check has been greatly expanded to include a total of six stores with a rich Kansai flavor (four food and beverage stores and two merchandise stores) and a new domestic flight lounge for use by eligible passengers. Under the concepts of "expansion of international flight capacity," "enhancement of airside area," and "improvement of passenger experience," the airport's appeal will be greatly enhanced by expanding international flight capacity as well as commercial and dining zones. The construction work will be carried out in four phases. Phase 1 is to develop the new domestic flight area, and Phase 2 is to renovate the old domestic flight area into the new international flight departure area. In the new domestic flight area,
