Botejyu 1946 in Kansai International Airport Domestic Flight Restricted Area Now Priority Pass Compatible
Priority Pass offers free restaurant privileges in Japan at Central Japan International Airport Centrair as well as at Botejyu in Kansai International Airport, which is available for domestic departures and arrivals.
Botejyu 1946, which opened in the domestic flight restricted area at Kansai International Airport, will now accept Priority Pass in December 2022 !
The new Botejyu restaurant is located in the domestic restricted area of the Kansai International Airport.
The store on the third floor of the general area, which was temporarily closed due to the spread of the new coronavirus, was closed as the entire floor underwent a major renovation. The new restricted area restaurant opened on October 26 and will be compatible with the Priority Pass, allowing customers to eat and drink for free up to 3,400 yen (including tax) per visit, the same as the old restaurant.
The former Botejyu restaurant offered Priority Pass or Lounge Key access to those with boarding passes for flights departing from Kansai International Airport on the same day. This will no longer be available when using flights departing from Terminal 2.
Due to the Covid-19, the Botejyu restaurant in front of the baggage checkpoint at Kansai International Airport was regrettably closed. However, Botejyu 1946, which opened in the domestic flight restricted area, will be Priority Pass compatible from December 1, 2022.
Free okonomiyaki, takoyaki, yakisoba, Akashiyaki, steak, kushikatsu and other sides up to 3,400 yen
The "Botejyu" at KIX that once existed was located in the non-restricted area before immigration and boarding procedures and could be used not only when boarding international flights but also when using domestic flights and was acceptable for legacy carriers such as ANA and JAL as well as Peach and other LCCs.
The Botejyu 1946, which will be available for use with Priority Pass from December 1, 2022, is located in the domestic restricted area of Terminal 1 and cannot be used during Peach and international departures in Terminal 2. However, it is also OK for domestic arrivals.
To use Botejyu, you must present your boarding pass for your departure or arrival flight from Kansai International Airport. Only presenting the reservation confirmation is not acceptable.
For e-tickets (also ANA Skip Service and JAL Touch & Go Service), you must log in to the Internet membership site and present your check-in screen.
Botejyu 1946 at Kansai International Airport is located on the 2nd floor of Kansai International Airport Terminal 1 / after the security check (domestic departures and arrivals area).
It is across from Boarding Gate 26 and to the left of Boarding Gate 41, and is located in an area with a concentration of restaurants, convenience stores, and stores.
It is open from 5:30 to 10:00 pm (10:00 pm), with last order at 9:30 pm, 30 minutes before closing.
It is available from early in the morning until late at night. However, it is not open during late night to early morning hours.
It should be noted that during lunch and dinner hours, there is currently a waiting time of 30 minutes.
There are not many restaurants in the area after passing through security checkpoints for domestic flights at Kansai Airport, so customers tend to congregate at the restaurants with the fewest number of customers.
Botejyu Menu at Kansai International Airport
Botejyu's menu features a variety of Kansai specialty flour dishes such as okonomiyaki, takoyaki, Akashi Tamago-yaki, and Osaka Deluxe Tsukimi Yakisoba.
The restaurant is famous for its okonomiyaki, but ramen and morning plates are also on the menu.
Yogurt and "Hiyashi Ame " are also available as drinks.
"Hiyashi Ame (hiyashi candy)" is considered a standard summer drink in the Kansai region.
Hiyashiame is a cold drink made by dissolving malt syrup in hot water, adding squeezed ginger juice, and chilling it.
The malt syrup used for hiyashi ame contains no sugar and is a perfect summer drink with the gentle sweetness of grains and the freshness of ginger.
Malt syrup is made from malt, rice, starch, and water.
Hiyashi Ame is an indispensable part of the daily summer scene in the Kansai region.
The origin of hiyashi ame is said to be the "ameyu" stall in Shinsaibashi, Osaka in the Edo period (1603-1867). Ameyu is a warm drink, but it was drunk as a nourishing summer beverage.
Botejyu also offers a wide variety of side dishes such as teppan-yaki beef halami, garlic shrimp, kushikatsu, yakitori, karaage, teppan gyoza, crab cream croquettes, mizu eggplant, and salads.
Botejyu's okonomiyaki is made with our original dough, which is made by adding yams to flour and dissolving it in soup stock, and filled with fresh cabbage and carefully selected ingredients of your choice (meat, seafood, etc.).
It is grilled on an iron plate and seasoned with our original tomato sauce, special sauce, and white mayonnaise.
If you're hungry, spend the full 3,400 yen as much as you want and enjoy your favorite menu!
The receipt will also include the discounted price, and you only need to pay the remaining balance of the fee.
Not only food but also drinks including alcohol are included in the 3,400 yen free.
I ordered a western morning plate. It comes with bread, sausage, salad, French frites and scrambled eggs.
Notes.
You must present your Priority Pass or credit card with lounge key function and have it read by the machine.
Even if the amount spent is less than 3,400 yen (tax included), no change will be given; if it exceeds the amount, the difference can be paid. Credit card and electronic payment are accepted.
If a person who is not a Priority Pass member is present, he/she will be counted as a companion and can spend up to 3,400 yen per person.
Whether the accompanying person is free depends on the conditions of the Priority Pass and lounge key. Botejyu cannot determine this for you, so you will need to figure this out on your own.
You cannot refuse to be counted as an accompanying guest if you are present. For example, one person may not use Priority Pass and the other person may not have soft drinks only.
However, if the companion is under 6 years old, the Priority Pass OR Lounge Key may be shared for food and beverage.
Even if the same person has multiple Priority Pass cards, the discount will be 3,400 yen per card.
The holder and user must match, so a person with multiple cards cannot allow his/her card to be used by a companion.
Since the card is limited to in-store dining, it cannot be used for take-out.
At Botejyu 1946 at Kansai International Airport, you can eat and drink up to 3,400 yen for free with Priority Pass privileges.
It is located in the area after baggage check for domestic flights, so international flights are not allowed and domestic flights are allowed. This service is available for both departures and arrivals (outbound and inbound). Note that the former Botejyu was not available for use on arrival.
Located on the 3rd floor of Kansai International Airport Terminal 1, it is open from 5:30 to 22:00, with last orders taken 30 minutes before closing at 21:30. It is open year-round with no holidays.
Since it is open for a long time, it can be used for a wide range of occasions from early morning flights to evening flights.
