Restricted Area at Itami Airport, Osaka

Osaka International Airport (Itami) has undergone a major renovation for the first time in 50 years!

The areas before and after security check at the North Terminal (JAL side) and South Terminal (ANA side) will be

Grand opening on August 5, 2020!

The newly renovated Itami Airport is!

After going through security check, there are 31 stores in the walk-through commercial area

And 5 more in the area before security check.

A total of 36 new restaurants, souvenir stores, and general stores have opened!

Until now, there were only small stores after security check, but with this renewal, the number of stores has increased from 11 to 31, and the number of attractive stores has also increased! Coming to the airport early, completing security checks, and spending time in the airport may become a new way to enjoy Itami Airport.

 In 2020, the newly opened "Shops & Restaurants" will open right in front of you as you pass through the security checkpoint.

A connecting passageway leading from South 13 and North 14 next to the gate allows customers to go back and forth between the North and South areas.

ANA and IBEX passengers can use the stores on the north side as well as the south side, and JAL and AMX passengers can use both the north and south stores in the same way. Check in your baggage a little early, clear security, and enjoy all that the new ITAMI store has to offer.

Not only departing passengers, but also arriving passengers can use the newly renovated stores and restaurants. A connecting walkway allows for traffic between the north and south areas!
