Uncle Rikuro's store's "freshly baked cheesecake" is so famous in Osaka that there is no one who does not know about it!
Osaka International Airport, also known as "Itami Airport," was renovated in August 2020. Thirty-six new restaurants, souvenir shops, and other stores have opened in the South and North Terminals, both before and after passing through security checkpoints. Among them, "Uncle Rikuro's Store Osaka Itami Airport Store," a favorite of Kansai people, opened in the north terminal.
Uncle Rikuro's store started in 1984 when Mr. Rikuro Nishimura branded "Rikuro Mark" on a freshly baked cheesecake. With 11 stores in Osaka City, this sweet treat has long been loved by people in the Kansai region.
Freshly baked cheesecakes will be available in the kitchen, which is equipped with a permanent oven. They will also be selling sweets made by Uncle Rikuro.
Riku Cafe STAND will also be set up, where you can enjoy freshly cut cheesecakes and drinks while waiting to board your flight.
You can observe the craftsmanship through the glass at the Osaka Itami Airport branch. The tinkling of the bell that signals the end of baking echoed over and over.
Freshly baked cheesecake (available from 8:00 a.m.)
Used rich-tasting cream cheese imported directly from a traditional Danish factory. They are baked several times a day, 12 at a time, in a kitchen attached to each store. We are also particular about the raisins studded on the bottom. How about a souvenir for your family or business partners, from children to the elderly?
Freshly baked and instantly refrigerated chilled cheesecakes are available for purchase starting at 6:30 a.m.! Freshly baked cheesecakes will be available from 8:00am.
