The observation deck is a very open space with plenty of benches for sunbathing and other activities, except for those who want to watch the planes take off and land.　

The observation deck at Itami Airport is all barrier-free, so wheelchair users can go there, as well as people in wheelchairs and with large, heavy luggage.

 ANA's annual event: dedicating an ema (votive tablet) to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine to pray for success on behalf of students preparing to take the entrance examination. ANA has installed a large ema (votive picture tablet) at Kansai International Airport Terminal 1 as part of a project to support students preparing for entrance exams.
