The attraction where you can meet the cute George the monkey is especially recommended for those with children.
"Playing with Curious George" at Universal Studios Japan is a show-type attraction held in an indoor theater.
It is located on the site of the former "Anime Celebration" attraction that ended in 2016, and can be enjoyed regardless of the weather.
The shows do not have a fixed show time announced and are considered "as-needed".

Curious George story
Universal Studios Japan's "Curious George" takes place in the "Curious George" animation production studio.
The animator in charge of facilitating the event navigates you through the process of making the "George the Monkey" animation, but there is a problem with the scanner that causes the "George the Monkey" in the picture to pop out.
The first place we were taken to was the "small animation production studio.
In the small animation production studio, there were no chairs, and everyone had to stand to watch the video and listen to the facilitator.
Universal Studios Japan's "Curious George" features the role of the "Curious George" animator.
The animator appears from the right side behind the "Little Production Studio" and proceeds down the left aisle next to the screen.
The animator talks to the guests and draws Curious George smoothly.
When the animator finishes drawing Curious George will give you a warning.
After the warning, the door in front of us opens wide and we are ushered into the large animation production room.
Next, we were taken to the "Big Animation Studio".
The "Big Animation Studio" has chairs and a kids area in the front.
The large animation production studio has a kids' area right in front of the stage.
There are no seats in the kids' area, just a space where they can move around freely.
Only children are allowed inside the kids' area, so adults can enjoy the attractions while watching over them from their seats.
The animator has to dress up as "Uncle Yellow Hat" and "Curious George" pops out of the picture due to scanner trouble.
Universal Studios Japan's "Playing with Curious George" had a scene where soap bubbles came out in the middle of the attraction.
The children were so excited to see so many bubbles suddenly come out!

Curious George at Universal Studios Japan: Photography and video recording are allowed during the show.
If you have children with you, it will be a great memory to be able to photograph them enjoying themselves.
